fh2wheel presents a virtual Xbox One racing wheel to Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox One build 1.0.0.64) inside Azimuth, taking steering, pedals, paddles and buttons from a PC DirectInput wheel. Unlike generic rumble, the force feedback uses programs generated by the game itself for road feel, grip, impacts and centering. Includes a wheel configuration tool for axis/button mapping, inversion, gain and force tests. Installation: extract D3DCOMPILER_47.dll, fh2wheel.dll and fh2wheel-config.exe beside azimuth.exe; fh2wheel-probe.exe is an optional diagnostic tool. Original game and launcher files are not modified. Designed for Azimuth 0.9.9; Mezcal is untested. Tested hardware so far: Moza R9 with ESX wheel. Compatibility with Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec and other DirectInput wheels has not been independently verified. Extra Options and fh2core are not required; the creator reports testing alongside Extra Options. WARNING: Both FH2 Streaming Radio variants also ship a D3DCompiler_47.dll loader, so installing those mods together may overwrite this mod's loader. Keep backups and do not combine them without verified loader-chain support. The project is open source under the MIT license.
These mods may use overlapping game files or loaders. Review the conflict details before installing them together.
fh2wheel and Streaming Radio each include D3DCompiler_47.dll. Loader chaining is unverified; a file can be overwritten.
